MODRAIL 2007 THE JOHN SONDERMANN SHIELD

 

John Sondermann Shield

FOR THE BEST LAYOUT AT MODRAIL - AS VOTED BY THE PUBLIC.

In 2005, our Vice President, John Sondermann, kindly donated this shield to Swindon Model Railway Club for presentation to the 'Best Layout at the Modrail Exhibition - as Voted by the Public'.

The shield was awarded for the first time at MODRAIL 2005.

The inaugural winner of the shield was the very impressive 00 gauge layout 'Penhallick'.

2006 ? ? ?

Voting slips will again be made available to members of the public on admission to the Modrail 2007 show.

We anticipate John Sondermann will again present the shield to the winning layout during Sunday afternoon of the show.

John, is Swindon Model Railway Club's longest serving member and is best known throughout the modelling fraternity for his 'Scratch Built' MSWJR Locomotives - to P4 Standards.
